Shipwreck

on:It seems that I’ve gotten accustomed to the coldness here, feeling normal with -8 celcus degree. Hence I’ve decided to make the trip longer, the result is me getting back home at 7.30pm with a “scratching” stomach.
The journey is interesting, starting with the new simcard, followed by a tour at Stockholm city hall- one of Sweden’s symbolic buildings where they hold honour dinners for Nobel winners. It was built almost 100 years ago, trying to accommodate Italian architecture, just as many structures dated back then. There’re several intersting facts about this “iconic” building. The “blue hall” is ways from blue, but rather red, this is due to the architecture’s inconsistancy, which causes numerous changes inspired by his trips around the world during the construction period of the hall. Also, some “embarassing” mistakes were found in the “golden hall”s wall decoration, such as a headless knight (whose head can be found on another wall) or the “three” crowns symbol with only two were make. Guess what caused the mistakes? Cheap labor from Sweden (not China) tends to cut everything short, especially time, thus led to inevitible mistakes. According to the tour guide, they would have hired German labor instead. Btw, the hall is really “golden” with four golden walls. Lots of other funny facts but I shall not list out all though…
This is her
Dining hall for Nobel winners (up).
I love the roof (viking-house type)
Men and women must always be together:
There’re always one male and one female on each side of the window in this room.
Male and female pillars, not sure which is which though, up to individual to interpret.
The golden hall
I’m not grass, grrrr…
This is partialy made in Sweden:
On the mood to go, I made my way to Vasa museum, where the salvaged ship is conserved. She sank in 1628 after less than 30mins sailed, such a shame for a national-pride war ship. (Communistly), no one was to blamed for the tragedy. The captain knew about the instabibility of Vasa, yet he didn’t dare stopping the King, who was too desperate. Afterall, no one could stop fate.
Here she is.
She was painted with 20 different colours
This is another “she”, not sunk yet.

Leaving “his” footprints in Sweden eh?
By the way, the horse that tried to eat you was probably a Trojan Horse. Not the computer malware, but it is a horse with hidden army of sorts.
